Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

The Maintenance Crew Leader position would require an organized, detail-orientated leader who possesses a positive attitude and is comfortable developing client relationships. Applicants should have experience with residential landscape maintenance and understand proper horticultural techniques. Applicants should be able to direct a crew and coordinate materials and equipment to complete the job. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. CLT and Wisconsin pesticide license are a plus.

We are actively searching for an experienced Account Manager with a proven track record to service our recurring book of business and achieve gross profit objectives through leadership and management of staff, while meeting contractual commitments to customers in a timely, high-quality manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining customer relationships to ensure all contractual obligations are met and ensure a long-term commitment
  • Upselling and suggesting enhancements to customers to bring more value to all involved
  • Effectively managing labor and equipment to effectively meet gross profit objectives
  • Motivate staff, maintain high employee morale and employee retention
  • Accountability to ensure safety is a top priority
  • Establishing and monitoring guidelines to determine field labor requirements
  • Training, leading, motivating, and evaluating maintenance crew team members
  • Helping to create and follow our annual financial plan

Requirements

  • Willingness to work alongside the crews you are responsible for managing as needed
  • Candidates should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) applications
  • Able to work independently, communicate effectively, and adequately answer customer’s questions
  • It is critical that this individual be energetic, motivated and have the drive necessary to maintain and grow relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience is desired

Benefits

This career opportunity offers a salary range of 55K-75K plus applicable incentives, company vehicle, phone, profit sharing retirement plan, as well as other company benefits.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT/DESIGNER

Due to continued growth, we are actively seeking a Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer who has a proven track record of successfully building relationships, creating amazing projects and providing a continuum of maintenance services to client’s landscape investments.

Some of the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build relationships, qualify clients, develop new business from both referrals and networks, selling the value of our design/build landscapes coupled with recurring maintenance
  • Produce conceptual and finished landscape designs, including elevation drawings
  • Follow a proven sales process to make profitable estimates, effective sales presentations and manage client relationships
  • Maintain rapport and positive working relationships with field, office and management personnel to resolve problems, exploit opportunities and maximize profits

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred experience of 7 years selling residential landscape construction and maintenance contracts; however, willing to train with appropriate education
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Publisher, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Participation in continuing education, professional development, and company specific training
  • Proficient in AutoCAD. SketchUp a plus, but not required
  • Extensive knowledge of site analysis, plant and hardscape design, construction methods, and grading
  • Ability to work both independently and in conjunction with our Design/ Sales Assistant, Construction Project Managers and Maintenance Account Managers
  • Critical that this individual be energetic, self-motivated, and driven to success
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture or similar
